Great central location with attentive staff

I recently enjoyed my stay with easy access to Sheffield’s vibrant nightlife and helpful staff who provided fantastic recommendations. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, featuring an excellent selection of hot and cold options. the room could have been quieter at night due to outside noise.

I thoroughly enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff. They were attentive to my needs and the location felt secure, making it easy for me to explore Sheffield's beautiful city centre without worries.

Perfect location but tough stay

The place is right by the Crucible, which is cool, but I had a rough go. The lift broke, so I had to tackle stairs all weekend. The shower was tricky with a big step to get in. Breakfast was alright, though those tomatoes could've been better. Staff didn’t seem keen to help much, either. Just wore me down, honestly.

The receptionist was a total gem the moment I walked in her enthusiasm just made everything feel like a breeze and the room was surprisingly spacious and clean for a single traveler which caught me off guard in a good way.

We had a lovely time visiting the nearby attractions, knowing that after a fun day, we could return to a spacious family room. The kids enjoyed their comfortable beds, and the breakfast spread was impressive, catering to all our needs.

During my stay, I was primarily there to visit nearby attractions like the Winter Gardens and the Peace Gardens, which were easily accessible. The location worked out perfectly for this purpose, making it convenient to explore the city. The room was adequate for my needs, though it could use some updates. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, there were moments when it felt like there weren’t many around to assist. it served its purpose, especially being close to everything I wanted to see.
